Hayes & Cahill’s only NYC appearance as a duo this year, a highlight of The New York Times’ Fall Season

“If your live music rations were limited to a single concert in the entire year, then you’d be crazy or foolish if you didn’t pass that precious time in the company of Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill.”
– The Irish Times

Martin Hayes (fiddle) and Dennis Cahill (guitar) are two of the world’s leading artists in traditional Irish music. Their adventurous, soulful interpretations of traditional tunes are recognized the world over for their exquisite musicality and irresistible rhythm. In concert, they hold listeners spellbound with their slow-building, fiery performances, releasing the pure, distilled beauty and vast emotional depths of Irish music. They have toured the world as a duet for the past twenty years with performances in venues ranging from vast to intimate, including the Sydney Opera House, Buddhist temples in Japan and at the White House where they met and played for President Obama and the first lady.

Previous residencies at the IAC have featured sold-out performances by Julie Feeney and Declan O’Rourke. Book now for this rare chance to experience Martin and Dennis in residence for eight performances. As an Australian reviewer put it: “Martin Hayes plays fiddle. Dennis Cahill plays acoustic guitar. Singly, each is remarkable. As a duo they are sublime.”
