Caoimhin Mac Aoidh (Kevin Mc-kee) has mastered many of the rare tunes played by the old generation and not often heard in today’s performance repertoire. He has published a number of books on Donegal fiddle music and is considered a primary source for Donegal tunes and fiddle folklore.

Peter Campbell is part of a long line of Donegal fiddlers. He is the grandson of “old” Peter Campbell, son of Jimmy Campbell, and nephew of Vincent Campbell. The Campbell household was the main stopping place for both John and Mickey Doherty, two of the most legendary Donegal fiddlers.

Peter and Caoimhin will play the rare and stylistically distinctive fiddle music of Donegal, incorporating old house dance tunes, “reversing” in tunes, pipe droning influences and the folklore associated with the tradition down through the generations.
