Some of you are planning to celebrate St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland on the actual St. Patrick’s Day (Saturday the 17th)…and that’s great… But OCEAN is offering you a concert the day afterward, because the snakes are having their own little party!
We’ll feature vocalist Lisa Moscatiello singing tender lyrical songs (bring your hankies… her exquisite voice regularly moves people to tears, and this concert’s material is especially sentimental…); Steve Winick singing some real gems from the Irish Comic Song tradition; fiddler Robert Spates burning it up on the jigs and reels; and Yours Truly tickling the ivories and squeezing up a storm.
Wear whatever you want … Shamrocks or Snakes… but come on out to Annapolis Maritime Museum this Sunday night at 7 p.m. and celebrate with us the special magic and mystery that is Irish music.
P.S. – There WILL be liquor served (there’s something to that old “hair of the dog” theory, after all…).
