Gaeilge for Kids

Maura Mulligan is pleased to offer a six-week Irish language class for children.

Students are invited to enjoy learning Irish through TPR – Total Physical Response & The Thematic Approach to language acquisition. Greetings, games, and songs will be introduced through the medium of Irish. Drama and dance may be explored on certain occasions.

New York Irish Center, 1040 Jackson Ave, LIC.

Tuesdays: February 8,15,22, March 1,8, 15.

4:00 – 5:00 p.m: Grades K to 3

5:00 – 6:00 p.m: Grade 4 and above

Fee: $90 for six-week session.

Mayo native, Maura Mulligan is a retired New York City Public School ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. She taught Irish to children at St. Ignatius School NYC, where her students appeared on RTE.
