Free Irish language lecture, January 18

On Tuesday, January 18 at 7:00 in UC 104 of Drew University’s University Center, Paul Ferris will give a one-hour talk on the Irish language, its history and current status, and teach a few phrases.

All are invited.

Paul is the instructor of the non-credit Irish language class offered by the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies beginning on January 25.

Paul Ferris studied Irish in the US with the language group Daltaí na Gaeilge, and in Ireland at Oideas Gael (Donegal) and An Acadamh (National University of Ireland-Galway). He served for three years on the executive board of the North American Association of Celtic Language Teachers.
