Come on out for a few good Irish dance tunes (reels, jigs, waltzes, hornpipes). The New Deal Cafe has a very nice Lebanese dinner menu, and a good selection of wine and beer. Great coffee, too. Guest musicians in 2nd set … Doc … 240.472.6882. ____________

Directions from Washington Beltway (Inner Loop) From the Washington Beltway (I-495) coming from Virginia via Bethesda, take Exit 23 (Kenilworth Avenue, Route 201, Bladensburg/ Greenbelt). Bear left at exit ramp, and take a left at the stoplight onto Kenilworth Avenue North toward Greenbelt. Take a right at the 2nd light onto Crescent Road. Go one mile (and mind the 30 mph speed limit), go straight through Gardenway (you will see a Sunoco Gas Station on the right side). Take the next right on Southway. Go about 20 yards, then take a left into the back parking lot. The Cafe is just across from the Greenbelt Theater on the little plaza.

Directions from University Blvd (a.k.a., Greenbelt Road), Route 193 If the Washington Beltway is backed up and you’re coming from the west, you can take University Blvd. (a.k.a., Greenbelt Road) Route 193, to the house. Take University Blvd. (Greenbelt Rd.) from Silver Spring going east. After the light at the Kenilworth Avenue overpass, go through the next light (Walker Drive). Go past the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, which is just ahead. Go another 4/10 mile, straight through the light at Lake Crest Drive, and then take a left at the next light onto Southway. Go through one light, then go through Ridge Road (stop sign), then go through Crescent Road (stop sign). Go about 20 yards, then take a left into the back parking lot. The Cafe is just across from the Greenbelt Theater on the little plaza.
