Set and Sean-Nós Dancing in Maryland!

CCE, in an effort to promote Irish set dancing and sean-nós (old style) step-dancing among the young of our community, has agreed to subsidize dance class expenses.  MAD Week 2009 set dancing and sean-nós step-dancing classes are now FREE for all boys and girls/young men and young women eighteen (18) years of age or younger.  (Adults are also welcome and encouraged to take the class)

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!  Instructor Shannon Dunne is an award-winning dancer and teacher who has studied with Mick Mulkerrin and Mairead Casey, has collaborated with Kieran Jordan of Boston and performed and taught at festivals all over the East Coast. The kids (and adults) will love working with her!  Check out the following video clips of the Kerry Rambler Kids [all 12-13 years], who visited us last October, for a bit of enjoyment and inspiration.
